Brittany Keller on Providing Value to Network Marketing Leaders
Brittany Keller is a mother, branding expert, attraction marketing specialist, and internet marketing blogger. Here is her powerful story in our exclusive interview below.
Thanks so much for this interview, Brittany! I’ve been aware of your blog for some time and excited to learn more about you. So, let’s get started!
Where were you born and raised, what was childhood like, and what did you want to become when you grew up?
I was born, raised and currently live in rainy and gorgeous Portland, Oregon.
My childhood was like most in ways but definitely different in many ways.
I was the tomboy of tomboys. Whenever it was not raining you could catch me outside swimming, skateboarding, rollerblading, bike riding .. pretty much anything to do with outdoors I was there.
When I was 15 years old I was diagnosed with terminal cancer on my birthday. I spent over a year on chemotherapy, learning to walk again, numerous surgeries etc. But hey you can’t be a tomboy and not be tough. I knew I was gonna make it and now here I sit over 15 years later.
As far as what I wanted to be when I grew up depended on the era. When I was 7 I was a typical girl who wanted to be a Vet. At the age of 11 I wanted to be Tony Hawk and when I was 13 I just wanted to be COOL.

What did your parents do for a living, and was there any Entrepreneurship in the family?
My mom was a vampire AKA Phlebotomist where she drew blood and ran her lab. My step dad was a security guard at a big local hospital near us. (I really preferred calling my mom a vampire because it made my parents seem cooler than they were.)
On my biological father’s side extreme entrepreneurship everyone on that side is self made. As far as details I know bits and pieces and only that they have done very well!

When and how did you discover network marketing, and what were your first two years like?
I just hit two years just a few days ago and it has been a roller coaster to say the least.
I am a licensed hairdresser and was running a salon from my home prior to network marketing. It just wasn’t working out due to raising two littles along with other factors.
A fellow mom friend of mine was doing a little side thing from home while raising kids so of course I jumped on board cause I knew I could it.
However once I locked arms I was pretty much left on my own. I decided I was going to figure this out and help as many other people figure it out.
So one YouTube video led to another video and before I knew it that led to an attraction marketing system. I started learning how to attract rather than chase people and that led to more investing in myself.
I now have started a journey of helping others but most importantly have found where I belong.

What was the biggest lesson you learned, and what is the best advice you have for new marketers?
I love this question so much! So there is so many ways I’d love to answer this but, I’ll go with my first.
The biggest lesson is that it ALL starts with mindset. Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% on how you react. To quote the late and amazingly great Jim Rohn: ‘Work harder on you than you do on your job. If you work hard on your job, you can make a living. If you work hard on yourself, you’ll make a fortune.’
My biggest advice would have to be to DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT IN LIFE!
You can have anything in life if you believe you can. It starts with vision. You must see it before you have it!
So have patience and perseverance.
Patience in you, your skill sets, the people who laugh at you and most importantly your journey! Decide to never give up and persevere.
A video on your YouTube channel caught my eye. “How to Easily make 5k a month in network marketing.” Can you share your tips on that?
Absolutely! I created that video for two reasons. First off if you survey most people and ask them what the bare minimum to cover the bills would be most say $2,000 to 2,500. Second is you can dream of the ’10/20/100k + a month’ but you can’t just have a goal. You have to know how to get there.
So I used 5k as a starter stepping stone so most people could not only be comfortable with quitting their job but also know how to reverse engineer anything they want.
It’s a pretty simple formula of reverse engineering you just have to start with the end goal in mind.
So if you want to earn 5k a month …You simply take 5,000 divide it by 30 which roughly equals $167/day. You then take your product or service and figure what you make per unit sold or what you make a month on memberships etc. Then you simply go to work and this works with any goal you want to achieve not just with money.
Reverse engineer everything because ‘A goal without a plan is just a wish.’
And another one, how do you attract big leaders into your business opportunity?
You know what’s funny is a lot of friends ask me that. I am friends with some of the best in the biz . I am fortunate to have really great friends who have done this all before and do an amazing at sharing the way. I guess it comes to the law of attraction and how typically like minded people are found together.
I work hard, hustle, implement what I learn and just am genuine and exude me. I don’t try to be something I’m not and the rest just falls into play. Network marketing is a huge learning curve as I’m sure you know. If you’re out there hustling and working hard you’re gonna attract the attention of the leaders and people who want to join you!
~
You have a lot of videos on YouTube. How has video helped your home business, and should every network marketer blog?
Video is the fastest and best way to exude you. You build your audience fast because they get to see you as a real person quirks and all. So when people know like and trust you they show up with credit card in hand,
YES, every network marketer/ any entrepreneur/ basically anyone wanting to have an online space should have a blog. Why? Because it is your real estate online and the only thing you own, without one you’re homeless on the internet.

What is the best way for you these days to generate Leads and can you give us a particular technique you use?
The best way to generate leads is through content. When you put out consistent content people get to know like and trust you therefore they are coming to you basically ready to sign up with credit card in hand.
I use several techniques to generate leads but for me it’s quality over quantity. The best technique for me is to create a piece of content and then have all of your social media directing to that piece of content especially on automation.
This is a good technique if you’re just getting started and don’t have a blog. Do not get caught up on all the things you think you have to have before you can be successful. Trust me it set me back tremendously.

I love your blog! When did you start blogging, how many posts are on your blog, and what is your traffic like?
Thank you because it is a little bit of a work in progress at the moment, so I will take the compliment!
I started blogging about 19 months ago. When I first got started and decided I was gonna help as many other people figure this out I created an audience without knowing it.
I started sharing Jim Rohn, Grant Cardone, Ray Higdon etc. etc. videos to other struggling marketers. Before I knew it I had dozens and dozens of messages a day asking for help so decided I would start a blog only to place the videos all in one site.
Very quickly I realized that I should be writing the posts and doing the videos and the rest is history.
I have about 50 active posts on my blog and get about 400-500 visitors a day.
What has been the best source for free traffic back to your blog?
Social media is the best way to get free traffic. Either by posting an article to your page, sharing that post in groups, being in a blog syndication group or making quotes to be shared with your site on the picture.
~
What is your favorite book right now and why?
You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero! Because it is absolutely amazing for getting out of your own head and clearing out the head garbage you carry around.
~
What are your goals for 2023?
So many goals are on my plate for 2023 in multi-level marketing and blogging!
This year I really zoned in on my business as a business. I will become a six-figure earner and I will be taking at least 20 people to at least 4 figures a month.
That is my big business goal for the year. I have many other smaller goals such as hitting top ranks, leader boards and making a lot of noise in the community.
~
What is your favorite quote and why?
‘The effect you have on others is the most valuable currency there is’ – Jim Carrey
This is my all time favorite quote! I go after impact and how I can help others and how I can help others to impact and so on.
Thank you so much for this interview, Brittany!
