Jason J. Torres on MLSP, Internet Marketing, and Working from Home
Jason J. Torres is a successful internet Entrepreneur. Here’s Our Interview where he discusses MLSP and the sweet feeling of working from home.
Thanks so much for doing this interview, Jason. Last time we spoke was during the release of the article spotlighting all the successful MLM bloggers in the industry.
Just to let my readers know, Jason did this interview on a Sunday afternoon when a lot of good football was on. That’s just how devoted Jason to being a top-ranked Entrepreneur!
How old is your blog, how many posts do you have, and are you still blogging today?
My blog is about 3 years old. I currently have 43 blog posts and am currently adding more to my blog on a daily basis.
Prior to jasonjtorres.com, I had another blog called marketingwithjason.com that numerous articles as well.
When I was able to find a url that branded my name I thought it was only right to switch things up and make my blog more branded to me.
I still actively blog, and love being able to share messages I’m passionate about, when it comes personal development, network marketing, and internet marketing.
How is the traffic to your blog and do you get leads consistently from your blog?
Traffic to my blog continues to get better to get better by the day as I continue to add more content and syndicate my content through various social media channels.
My blog produces a lot of the leads I generate as all of my marketing methods drive traffic back to my block which is my hub.
I feel once prospects make it to my blog and learn more about me, a connection is formed which makes it a whole lot easier when I call them. I generate leads through my blog every single day.
Are you promoting just MLM with your blog, or do you also promote an educational platform, such as My Lead System Pro, Elite Marketing Pro, or another Affiliate offer?
I promote MLSP as a generic front end offer on my blog, as I’m able to provide solutions to people involved in the home based business industry that struggle mainly with lack of money and lack of prospects to talk to.
MLSP is a great platform for generic marketing training. Through my blog, and autoresponder email messages, I’m able to continue building the relationship which eventually leads to back end offers like other affiliate products, or my primary mlm company.
If someone is new to MLM and wants to do everything through blogging, what would you tell them?
My recommendation is to definitely create a blog. It’s one of the only two things that you own online aside from your email list.
It’s a great hub for prospects to get to know more about you outside of business, to form a connection and create stickability when it comes to building an mlm business.
It also sets you apart from other distributors in your company as you have a resource to offer prospects outside of your mlm’s products, services, and or opportunity.
You were a career soldier in the Army, how many years have you been in the Army, and how has the Army helped you become a home-based Entrepreneur?
I was in the Army for over 17+ years. Through those years I was able to develop and hone the leadership skills I learned to further advance my entrepreneurial skill sets. I’ve been an entrepreneur since 13.
Since I was a Private in the US ARMY, I always had the ambition and drive to create additional income which I did part-time through various opportunities.
I believe the Army helped me create an unshakable will power to do what’s ever necessary to get ahead, and helped me establish the required discipline that’s necessary to yield the desired outcome I want in business.
You mention on your blog “I have a love for people and nothing excites me more than seeing others take action in their lives and accomplish their goals” How do you help people in your business today?
I cast vision for people and help them to understand that everything they want to accomplish is on the other side of their fears, procrastination, and limiting belief system.
Building a business is not easy. Especially when it comes to home based business. The people closest to you can become your biggest critics.
Entrepreneurs both new and seasoned, sometimes find themselves in a rut trying to figure out how to have that breakthrough.
Through my blog, through video, and through conversations, I’m able to shed light on some of the challenges that they are facing and share tips with them on how I have overcame some of those challenges in business and life personally, and how they can do the same and still come out on top.
I would say it’s kind of like a ministry of restoring hope for others who God places in my path.
Some of the feedback I have received from others over the years from has been very humbling.
If someone came to you interested in making money online and they wanted to do it quickly, what would you tell them?
I would start by setting the proper expectations and educate them on the fact that to go fast they would need to show up and put in the work daily.. No Excuses.
When it comes to internet marketing, you either have the marketing budget to pay for advertising or must invest the time to doing organic marketing to yield fast results.
If a person has a shoestring budget they must be willing to learn a marketing strategy and make up in numbers what they lack in skill.
They must own that strategy until its generating them on average 10+ leads a day before to they move on to a new strategy. Can it done fast absolutely. It all depends on a person’s work ethic and discipline to see the job through.
We all have our struggles in the beginning of our network marketing career. What has been the biggest setback for you and what valuable insight have you learned from it?
My biggest struggle I have encountered in my network marketing career is consistency.
At times I found myself on fire doing the necessary tasks required to grow my business, and at other times lacking the discipline to stay consistent when life challenges have gotten in the way.
One thing I learned from a 6 figure mentor, is that life is going to happen.
Just as you show up to work on a daily basis because you have to, you must show up day in and day out in your network marketing business.
Do you always want to?
Absolutely not, do you have to absolutely yes, if you’re serious about breaking free from the 9 t0 5 grind and living life on your own terms.
You must also lead by example, because your team will do what you do and not what you say! Money Loves Speed.
What are your ultimate personal and business goals for 2017?
My personal goals for 2017 are to continue striving to become a better parent, and role model for my children.
I also want to continue to find ways to give back to others in my local community through both time and charitable contributions.
My business goals for 2017 are to teach, train, and inspire others to achieve more through the profession of network marketing.
My personal business goal is to break a significant rank which a milestone in my network marketing company, and achieve a leadership level within the MLSP community.
All of these accomplishments will help on my path to achieving greatness in my life and being able to impact more people on a greater scale.
Thanks Erik for the opportunity to be featured as blogger on your site, and for all the work you do. I truly appreciate it. If there is anything I can do you for you, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
