Larry Porter on Cherishing More Family Time Because of MLSP

Larry Porter was a family man with 4 children. He was tired of punching a time clock and chasing Leads at Walmart when he found MLSP. His story.

Awesome Larry, thanks so much for doing this interview! You have a great story, I would love to know more about. So, let’s get started!

Where were you born and raised, what was childhood like, and what did you want to be when you ‘grew up?’

I was born and raised in Mississippi.  I grew up in a small town called Red Banks.  I honestly wanted to be a rapper/ music artist, but as I got older my heart leaned more towards Entrepreneurship. I always had a vision of desiring more out of life… especially time freedom.

~

What did your parents do for a living and was there any Entrepreneurship in the family?

My dad owned a contracting business which he worked for himself for quite some time and my mom was a school teacher. My dad always wanted more out of life and I saw that entrepreneurial side in him.

~

You were tired of punching a time clock. What kind of jobs have you had, and why was a job never enough?

I’ve been working ever since I was at the age of 17 and the type of jobs I had were mostly in the warehousing field. I felt the need to start a new journey towards time freedom because I always knew that jobs limit your income potential as well as your time. When I came to this realization, that’s when I hit the ground running towards freeing myself.

~

You’re a father of 4. How has having children changed your perspective on life, and why is family time so important?

By me providing for my family, it changed a lot of my perspective dealing with life. When I was younger, I desired things more for myself; but as you get more responsible for others, you desire more time to spend with them.

I’m at the point in my life now where time means more than anything to me; even more precious than money. Because you can have a lot of money and still not have time to where life will still be meaningless. However, I feel that having time and money is one of life’s biggest accomplishments.

When did you discover MLM, and what was your first two years like?

I discovered the MLM industry about 5 years ago. I think network marketing is a good industry to be in because it grows you as a person and you learn a lot about yourself in the process.

My first two years of MLM sucked, however I’m not too big on MLM anymore. But by being a part of the MLSP Community, I’ve met a lot of other networkers that share some valuable tips concerning MLM. As of now, I’m more into affiliate marketing.

~

What are the three best tips you have for new network marketers?

My main tip out of all the three tips I’m about to share with you would be…

  1. Never pitch your opportunity directly to people.
  2. Always provide value rather than just another sales pitch.
  3. Do all of this online by creating valuable content and attract the perfect prospect to you!

~

You found a system called MLSP, can you explain what that is and who is it for?

To start things off, MLSP is the world’s most cutting edge attraction marketing educational platform for the online entrepreneur.

Even if you have a small brick and mortar business and you seek to take it online, MLSP can help make this as pain-free as possible.

To be quite frank, MLSP offers tons of training, support, and personal growth for the average struggling networker.

MLSP will teach business owners how to effectively brand themselves within their niche and become the leader that people are looking for.

When it comes to marketing online, MLSP provides solutions to network marketers and other industry professionals. What this mean for the average newbie marketer is that; anyone can come online and leverage the training, resources, tools, and the support of MLSP platform.

This attraction marketing system makes it SUPER DUPER easy for anyone to take their business online by taking care of the hard part for you.

I love your blog! How old is it, how many posts are on it, and what is your daily traffic like?

My blog is about 3 years old. After failing and redoing my blog several times, I’m finally able to be consistent.  As of now my post count is about 120. My traffic flow is finally rising due to me finally being consistent. I’m at about 50 visitors daily and rising.

~

Should every internet marketer blog and why?

I think every person within the home-based business industry should blog and do so very often. Even though blogging is a long-term strategy, however; it’s like your real estate property that you actually own online. Other platforms are great, but however, you do not own them.

That’s why I think every entrepreneur or Internet marketer should have their own blog because it’s something that you own.

I’m a big fan of video marketing too because it’s faster than blogging and it’s great leverage for starting out.

However, I wouldn’t put all of my eggs into video marketing because Youtube can shut down your account and all of your leads, traffic, and sales goes away instantly.

This is one of the reasons why I started putting more emphasis on my blog as of now.

~

What’s the best way to generate leads for you these days, and can you share a technique?

My best ways of generating leads would be YouTube videos along with blogging. I think YouTube is a great source of leads because you get to tap into the in-house traffic from YouTube as well as Google and all the other major search engines.

YouTube it’s one of my favorites, but however, you don’t own YouTube so it’s always best to incorporate blogging because it’s something that you own long-term.

Since people always typing in the search engines for particular things, I like to create and rank videos and blog post on the major search engines for the keywords targeting that particular audience .

This is pure leverage I think!

~

What is your favorite book right now and why?

My favorite book as of now and always will be… The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson.

This book has taught me so much on The Compound Effect and why is so important to do small daily tasks that helps avoid overwhelm.

I’ve learned that the small things that may seem insignificant really do add up overtime and that’s the secret to success in any area of life.

~

What are your goals for 2017?

My main goal is to live a more positive and productive life in 2017. With that being said I also want to be more healthy and in shape.

My other main goals for 2017 is to increase my blog traffic three times as much and be able to generate three times as many leads… all from blogging.

I want to help close more leads into My Lead System Pro and show other people how to generate leads for themselves on a more grander scale.

I want to be able to give more value than I ever gave before.

~

What is your favorite quote and why?

This is one of my favorites…

“You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.”  Zig Ziglar

This quote has taught me so much about serving others on a grander scale that also helps you get on the road to achieving what you want in the process. It is very unselfish and teaches you the best roles to play when entering any business.

Thank you so much for this interview Larry!
