Point blank. I said it.
Yes, you establish lifelong relationships in MLM because it’s a “relationship business” but at the end of the day it’s a numbers game.
No leads equals no business.
So, how many leads does it actually take per day, per week, per month to grow a serious network marketing business?

When I started MLM in 2014, my numbers were low as far as hits per day and leads generated from my business landing pages.
What is a landing page?
It looks like a signup form with a pretty background.
You use these to get leads into your business.
Your MLM company gives you these when you become a paid member.
Anyways, my numbers were low because I was brand new.
I wasn’t brand new in internet marketing and had over 80,000 followers on Twitter at the time, but my numbers were still low.
My numbers were like:
300 hits and 3 leads a day.
It took almost a month to get my first paid distributor.
And, the second month I desperately got my wife in so I wouldn’t have a big zero for the month.
Slowly, I started to get more leads per day and more signups.
It took a lot of A/B testing to see what worked.
If you think you can just spam the same message over and over again for years and expect results, you’re wrong.
Even if a method works for awhile, people get used to it and it loses “traction”, meaning it becomes ineffective.
I was changing my tweets and content and links every week to see what worked.
There was no sit back and relax on the beach the rest of my life.
The first two years in MLM were the hardest years of my life.
Not saying it was all bad.
Got to fire my boss and I work full-time from home now.

So, How Many Leads Does it Really Take to Grow a Serious MLM?
Eventually, I got my sales funnel down and was generating 10 leads a day.
That is not a lot, I admit it, because I wasn’t giving away a free offer, like so many other marketers.
I was only looking for people interested in starting a MLM and letting my company email them after they opted in to look at my opportunity.
Even though I got 10 leads a day, they were usually highly targeted leads from my blog, which were the best leads for me because they got a “feel” for who I was.
So, here’s the magic number:
10 leads a day, every day.
That’s how many leads you need.
If you just buy leads, you would need a lot more because they are extremely cold leads and don’t know, like, or trust you.
Takes anywhere from 500 to 2000 hits a day to my capture pages to get 10 leads a day.
10 leads a day is about 300 leads a month.
300 leads a month gets me from 4 to 8 new paid members each month.
Out of the 4 to 8 that join my business, 50% will quit almost right away.
That leaves me with 2 to 3 new members a month who stick with it for awhile.
2 new members a month is 24 a year.
In 4 years I would have 96 members.
Out of those 96 members, I would probably find my 3 to 5 leaders who would make 80% of my income.
That’s how MLM works. . .
Once you understand that you have to sift and sort through a lot of people to find 3 to 5 leaders to make most of your wealth, you’re set!
Most new network marketers cry when someone quits.
Then they quit.

You would become a top leader in your MLM business if you understood these numbers, found a way to generate 10 leads a day (ideally free), and knew that 90% of your team will quit, but a few will stick around and make you RICH.
