Top 5 Ways How to Activate Your Pineal Gland

The human Pineal gland is no larger than a pea, and yet it’s importance to your physical, mental, and spiritual health is immense.

That’s why this tiny gland has been studied and revered for thousands of years across different cultures and societies all around the world.

It’s relation to spirituality and the metaphysical was noted in Egypt, Rome, Greece, India, and early civilizations in the Americas. Even today it’s studied by scientists all over the world.

Unfortunately, for most people the pineal gland becomes calcified by their early teens. This can lead to a whole host of problems.

Spiritually the pineal gland, better known as the third eye, is our connection to the natural world as well as the metaphysical.

Spirituality not quite your thing? Don’t leave just yet, the pineal gland produces important chemicals such as serotonin and melatonin. Serotonin regulates mood, while melatonin is the chemical that signals to your body that it’s time to sleep.

Pineal gland calcification has also been linked to physical and mental health issues like; Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia, migraines, cluster headaches, and early onset puberty.

All hope isn’t lost though it’s possible to reverse the effects of pineal gland calcification and activate your third eye, as it’s more commonly known.

By the time you are in your 40’s the pineal gland is fully covered in a layer of hard calcium deposits, but with just a few exercises a day you can start reversing this calcification and living an all-around healthier life in just a few minutes a day.

  1. Ditch the Fluoride

The first step to reversing the calcification process, and activating your pineal gland, is to stop it from progressing any further, to begin with.

Synthetic fluoride, the kind used in municipal water supplies and toothpaste, is the leading cause of calcification.

In fact here in the United States, if your city supplies your water than you have a 74% chance of fluoride being added to it.

The reason behind this is, supposedly, because it promotes better dental health. However, in Europe where only 3% of municipal water supplies have added fluoride their dental health is comparable to ours.

So, you might be thinking you will start buying fluoride-free toothpaste and getting a water filter. Unfortunately, it’s not quite that simple.

Fluoride is extremely hard to get out of your water and a normal filter just isn’t good enough to do the trick.

The three filter types that can remove up to 90% of fluoride in water are reverse osmosis, deionizers, and activated alumina filters.

If you aren’t able to get your hands on these, distilled bottled water without added fluoride or fresh spring water will help reduce the amount of fluoride you ingest.

  1. Eat All Organic.

While fluoride is the biggest contributor to calcification, it’s far from the only one. The processed food that is so popular today is loaded with chemicals and preservatives, and even our traditionally grown produce is sprayed with pesticides, all of which contributes to the calcification process.

The pineal gland is different than the rest of the brain because it is not protected by the blood-brain barrier, which means those contaminants find their way straight to your pineal gland.

To make sure that you avoid these contaminants and avoid further calcification of the pineal gland it’s important to eat all organic foods. It’s not just produce, you need to make sure that your meat is all organic and grass fed as well.

  1. Activate Your Pineal Gland with Meditation

All of the benefits of meditation could easily fill a book, so it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that meditation can help you achieve an activated pineal gland.

You are a working adult though, you obviously don’t have time to sit around crossed legged for hours on end like a Buddhist monk. Luckily, you can activate your pineal gland in as little as ten minutes a day by focusing in on the pineal gland.

While sitting or lying down comfortably, close your eyes, then focus in on the area directly between your eyes and up about one inch up, the location of your third eye.

At first, you may feel a slight pressure or pinching in your forehead while meditating, but as you practice it more and more that will start to fade.

You can use binaural beats set at 936 Hertz to activate it even faster. Still not enough? After you are done tap your forehead where the pineal gland is located and you will have even better results.

  1. Practice Kundalini Yoga

Like meditation, the physical and mental benefits of yoga are numerous. Best of all is that it’s easy to get started in no matter your age or physical abilities and requires little time, meaning it can fit seamlessly into your busy schedule.

Kundalini Yoga can directly awaken your pineal gland because it was designed specifically to get your bodies natural energy flowing through your chakras, the third eye chakra corresponding to your pineal gland.

  1. Essential Oils

The nose is your fastest, most direct route to your brain, and therefore your pineal gland. Certain essential oils are said to activate your third eye, which in turn can lead to increased spiritual connection, regulate your mood, and help your overall mental health. The best essential oils for third eye activation include;

  • sandalwood

  • davana oil

Put some in a spray bottle with water and use it as an air freshener to activate the pineal while at home. Or, you could add a one-two punch to your meditation or yoga session by sniffing it right from the bottle before you start.

By decalcifying your pineal gland and working towards activating it you can lead a much more spiritually connected, self-aware life.
